Responsibility

Odd Molly complies with applicable laws and pursues targeted environmental work. Odd Molly has since 2011 been a member of the Chemicals Group within SWEREA / IVF and part of STWI. Through Odd Molly’s Code of Conduct for suppliers, the company’s suppliers comply with environmental requirements.

Steering

  • Odd Molly requires that all suppliers comply with the rules on prohibited chemicals.
  • Odd Molly educates his employees and customers in product care for the longest lifetime and in material knowledge.
  • Odd Molly’s sustainability strategy also includes improvement plans for their own workplaces (central and stores) in terms of consumption and climate compensation.

Examination

  • Odd Molly lets you check their suppliers through samples.

Risks and risk management

  • Inefficient use of resources in production and transport.
  • Training of employees about the environment.
  • Continuous control and revision of suppliers.

Human Rights

Responsibility

Odd Molly complies with applicable laws and international conventions for human rights based on ILO conventions and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Code of Conduct also requires suppliers to respect internationally recognized human rights.

Steering

  • The Code of Conduct is an important tool for controlling compliance with human rights.
  • Follow-up and review of working conditions in production takes place partly by Odd Molly’s own employees and partly by independent external organizations.
  • The Fair Wear Foundation provides a whistleblower line for factory workers.

Examination

  • Odd Molly lets you check their suppliers through samples
  • Fair Wear Foundation annually conducts visits to factories that manufacture Odd Molly’s products.

  • Business ethics and good working conditions at the factories where Odd Molly allows its products to be manufactured are central to the choice of supplier.

Staff and social conditions

Odd Molly strives for an open climate with great opportunity for each individual to develop. The company has a strong corporate culture. Odd Molly also has a long-standing collaboration with the Fair Wear Foundation, which mainly strengthens the development of good social conditions among the company’s suppliers.

  • Odd Molly has a gender equality and diversity plan and routines for abusive special treatment and anti-discrimination.
  • Training for staff on ergonomics, yoga and massage at work.
  • The company has guidelines for its suppliers and adheres to the Fair Wear Foundation’s Code of Conduct.
  • The Fair Wear Foundation provides a whistleblower line for factory workers.

  • Evaluation and follow-up take place in collaboration with the Fair Wear Foundation.

Risks and risk management

  • Odd Molly has no own factories but manufactures in different parts of the world where living standards and conditions are lower than in Sweden.
  • Damage and accidents at work is something that Odd Molly works actively to minimize.

Anticorruption

Odd Molly applies an anti-corruption policy and a code of conduct for suppliers. Ethical guidelines are also found in Odd Molly’s manual for employees.
